The Suicide Squad

The United States Government has a secretive Black Ops Organization known as Argus, led by Former Director of the F.B.I. Amanda Waller, Argus has become the top dog in the U.S.'s Black Ops/Covert Mission department. Word has Broken out that The U.S. Government is attempting to kill The Joker, via the organization Checkmate, led by Maxwell Lord.

Ordered by Current C.I.A. Director Alan Scott, Waller is to assemble a Black Ops team to collect the Joker and take him to a disclosed location so he can be debriefed on possible Government wide threats hiding in Gotham City, and the Identity of the Batman. Making Joker the most valuable asset in the Governments attempted control over Superheroes.

Unable to put together a full team of Government Agents, Waller enlists the aid of several jailed Supervillains, forming an off the books Task Force, for Black Ops Missions the Government cannot be connected to. Designation Task Force X is assembled, and are implanted with remote charges that will detonate on orders by Waller. The team that has worked together as villains have to work together as heroes.

Not suited by the official Government designation, the Team Gives itself a nickname fit for every member... The Suicide Squad.

Composer: A film score (also sometimes called film music, background music, or incidental music) is original music written specifically to accompany a film. The score forms part of the film's soundtrack, which also usually includes dialogue and sound effects, and comprises a number of orchestral, instrumental or choral pieces called cues which are timed to begin and end at specific points during the film in order to enhance the dramatic narrative and the emotional impact of the scene in question.

Clint Mansell [Notable Works: Smokin' Aces, Mass Effect 3, Noah]: Clint is an awesome composer. His work in Smokin' Aces felt like a Suicide Squad Score. He knows all the right beats and does a wonderful job as a composer. I think he'd be absolutely perfect for the Suicide Squad's Score.

Screenplay: A screenplay or script is a written work by screenwriters for a film, video game or television program. These screenplays can be original works or adaptations from existing pieces of writing. In them, the movement, actions, expression, and dialogues of the characters are also narrated. A play for television is also known as a teleplay.

Richard Wenk [Notable Works: 16 Blocks, The Mechanic, The Equilizer]: His action films are awesome. He's written dynamically edge of your seat thrillers and a thinking man's action movie. He's go the smarts and the style to write a wonderful script and could certainly do some fantastic things with the Suicide Squad.

Director: Directors are responsible for overseeing creative aspects of a film under the overall control of the film producer. They often develop the vision for a film and carry out the vision, deciding how the film should look, in other words they make their vision come to life. They are responsible for turning the script into a sequence of shots. They also direct what tone it should have and what an audience should gain from the cinematic experience. Film directors are responsible for deciding camera angles, lens effects and lighting with the help of the cinematographer and set design with the production designer. They will often take part in hiring the cast and key crew members. They coordinate the actors' moves, or blocking and also may be involved in the writing, financing and editing of a film.

Joe Carnahan [Notable Works: The A-Team, Smokin' Aces, The Grey]: He's been given a lot of bull for his A-Team movie, but it's actually pretty good. It's a fun dynamic action movie, a step up from the t.v. show. His work with the Grey was a character driven drama film with the icy backdrop and a villain in the force of mother nature's species the Wolf. In Smokin' Aces it was a tight nit operation in the form of a fun action movie about a bunch of assassins going after one snitch. Certainly Joe has worked with the types of scenarios that makes for a good Suicide Squad Film and I think he'd be perfect to direct it.

Amanda Waller [Height: 5' 1", Age: 40's-50's]: Amanda "The Wall" Waller is a hard-line top-ranking U.S. Government agent involved in clandestine operations. Despite her non-threatening physical appearance, she is almost universally feared as one of the most ruthless women in espionage and politics.

Lauren Valez [Height: 5' 5", Age: 50, Notable Works: Dexter, OZ, Rosewood Lane]: She's such a fantastic actress. She was a dynamic performer on Dexter and carried the attitude of her character well. She has the size, the voice, and the overall attitude to play a Perfect Amanda Waller. She's certainly capable of playing her no nonsense vicious approach to leadership and would become an Iconic Amanda Waller.

Rick Flag Jr [Height: 6' 1", Age: 30's]: Rick Flag, Jr. is an elite soldier working for Task Force X, and the leader of the Suicide Squad. Beginning his career as a fighter pilot, he started going on suicide missions after a tragedy wiped out his entire unit. The original team lead by Flag included Hugh Evans, Jess Bright, and Karin Grace. Flag would later go to work under Amanda Waller, leading missions in the field.

Chris Pine [Height: 6' 0", Age: 34, Notable Works: Star Trek, Smokin' Aces, Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit]: Honestly, I know I have cast him as Deadshot before, but rewatching his turn as Jack Ryan, he just seemed absolutely perfect for Rick Flag. He's got a sense of Charm and has the Certain "Pro-America" Attitude that made Ryan a more likeable character and those are certainly traits shared by the good guy Rick Flag Jr.

Floyd Lawton/Deadshot [Height: 6', Age: 30's-40's]: Deadshot is a hired assassin and the world's greatest marksman. Having been a super-villain and anti-hero, he'll commit any murder for the right price because of a notorious suicidal death wish. Despite this, he works very hard to protect his estranged ex-wife and daughter.

DJ Cotrona [Height: 5' 10", Age: 34, Notable Works: Detriot 1-8-7, G.I. Joe Retaliation, From Dusk Till Dawn The Series]: I know he's not very beloved by the Site. But he's actually getting great as an actor. If you doubt his talent, do yourself a favor and check him out in The 'From Dusk Till Dawn' T.V. Series where he takes over the role of Seth Gecko. He was dynamic and efficient as an actor. He has the talent, the looks, and the overall presence to play a perfect Deashot. DJ was amazing in the series and he would be an amazing Deadshot.

Dr. Harley Quinzell/Harley Quinn [Height: 5' 7", Age: 20's-30's]: Harley Quinn is a flamboyant super-villain and an adversary of Batman usually recognized as the Joker's girlfriend, although she has had her own strong solo career. Born Harleen Quinzel, she had been working as a psychiatrist at Arkham Asylum where she was assigned to the Joker and fell in love with him. This led to her adopting her own costumed persona, adapting the word harlequin, to assist him escape and cause further mayhem. Their relationship is passionate and continuously off-on, with Harley's best friend Poison Ivy constantly encouraging her to break up with for good. However, Harley's love for the Joker eventually brings her back to his side with the Joker himself demonstrating a keen need for her despite himself. When not with the Joker, she has been working mostly on her own in Gotham City, sometimes teaming up with her other friends. Her special abilities include an enhanced physiology due to chemical experimentation, giving her increased strength, agility and durability.

Jaime Murray [Height: 5' 7", Age: 37, Notable Works: Warehouse 13, Defiance, Fright Night 2: The New Blood]: Jaime is an awesome actress. She is a cunning force of nature, she has the sensibilities to play a female Hannibal Lecter, she could play the Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, and the fun kill or be killed inhuman monster. She really can play all the sides to Harley Quinn and do it as an expert.

George "Digger" Harkness/Captain Boomerang [Height: 5' 9", Age: 40's]: George "Digger" Harkness is a violent thug from Australia who uses a variety of high-tech boomerangs to commit crimes and fight the Flash. This has made him a member of the violent Rogues gallery. He has also been a member of the Suicide Squad.

Jonny Lee Miller [Height: 5' 11", Age: 42, Notable Works: Elementary, Hackers, Dark Shadows]: Jonny plays a sense of cocky, arrogance, and fun oh so well. His work on Elementary shows what makes him such a perfect fit for Captain Boomerang, He's certainly got the attitude for it, and as being a talented actor as he is, he could certainly harness a faithful Australian Accent and that would certainly showcase him as a perfect Captain Boomerang.

Louise Lincoln/Killer Frost [Height: 5' 3", Age: 30's]: She was a colleague and friend to Crystal Frost. After her friend died, she decided to repeat the experiment as a last respect to her former mentor, and became the new Killer Frost. She became just as ruthless as her predecessor and began her own personal vendetta against Firestorm, who she blamed for Frost's death. She briefly served as a member of the Suicide Squad and sold her soul to Neron for more power.

Sienna Miller [Height: 5' 5", Age: 33, Notable Works: Factory Girl, Foxcatcher, G.I. Joe Rise of Cobra]: Sienna is an great actress. I have loved her work for years, she's always given a great performance and she could certainly give us a delightful dark, cold, and nomadic supervillain in the form of Killer Frost, but she could also spice it up and have fun with it. Either way she'd be Dynamic.

Eric Needham/Black Spider [Height: 5' 11", Age: 30's-40's]: Originally a vigilante wanted for the murder of numerous criminals, he was captured by soldiers working under Amanda Waller and forced to join the Suicide Squad.

Morris Chestnut [Height: 6' 0", Age: 46, Notable Works: V, Legends, The Best Man]: Morris is a popular actor. He's done some fantastic work in V and has been wanted for a great many different comic book roles.  He's got talent and physicality to portray a lot of characters. I think the best suited one for him would probably be the Black Spider Character.

Ben Turner/Bronze Tiger [Height: 6' 3", Age: 40's-50's]: Ben Turner comes from an upper middle class black neighborhood in Central City. When he was only 10 years old, he saw a burglar attacking his parents, and he proceeded to murder the man with a kitchen knife. In an effort to control the rage inside him, Turner turns to martial arts (and eventually, crime). After some time, Turner decides to travel to the Far East in order to finally come to terms with his demons. There, he meets the O-Sensei, and studies under him, together with later recruit Richard Dragon. Some time after they are approached by Barney Ling, from the organization known as G.O.O.D. (Global Organization of Organized Defense), and they begin (reluctantly) working for Ling.

Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson [Height: 6' 1", Age: 36, Notable Works: Fire With Fire, A-Team, The Midnight Meat Train]: Rampage has a good history of Martial Arts being a MMA fighter, as well as having a good chunk of Acting Experience having worked with  Liam Neeson and Bruce Willis. He's a great actor. He needs more roles to really show that but I think a role like this could certainly suit him perfectly.

Anatoli Knyazev/K.G.Beast [Height: 6'2", Age: 30's]: The KGBeast is believed to have killed over 200 people, including Anwar Sedat. He was trained by an elite top secret KGB cell called "The Hammer." He is ruthless, has no regard for human life, and has been known to take such extreme measures to complete his missions as poisoning an entire banquet of 80 people to kill one target, and chopping off his own hand with an axe to avoid capture. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, without a cause, he became a freelancer and traditional supervillain.

Robert Maillet [Height: 6' 11", Age: 45, Notable Works: Pacific Rim, Sherlock Holmes, 300]: Robert is a big actor who has gained some reputation over the last decade or so. Many people might not know this but he was one of the first Wrestlers to actually turn to acting, his best known gimmick was for WWE under the name 'Kurgan' but since he's left the squared circle he's taken roles of many looming figures. He played the delightful Dredger in Sherlock Holmes as well as the Russian Jaeger Pilot in Pacific Rim. He's got the talent to play a Russian and size to look intimidating as a villain.

Maxwell Lord [Height: N/A, Age: 30's]: Maxwell Lord IV is the son of Maxwell Lord III. Maxwell Lord III was a good business man who always had enough to help others and also his family. Maxwell the III always made an effort to do what was right and be a great example for his son. At the age of sixteen, Maxwell Lord IV came home to find his father dead to an apparent suicide. Max was told by his mother that powerful people are always evil and that he must have control over them all. She stated that if Max ever meets powerful men or women, then he must plan every step. He grew up to become one of the most Dangerous Government Agents alive eventually gaining control over Government Intelligence via the Organization known as Checkmate, the prime rival to Amanda Waller's Argus.

Josh Helman [Height: 5' 11", Age: 29, Notable Works: X-Men Days of Future Past, Mad Max Fury Road, Jack Reacher]: I really dig him as an actor. He was fantastic in Days of Future Past. He brought some real gravitas to the role of Stryker and I would have loved to see his take on Juggernaut. He's a smart actor and could do a wonderful job as the deviously evil Maxwell Lord.

Slade Wilson/Deathstroke [Height: 6' 4", Age: Late 40's-Early60's]: Deathstroke is the world's greatest assassin/mercenary and an enemy of the Teen Titans. Originally a soldier in the U.S. Army, he was part of an experimental super-soldier project where he gained enhanced strength, agility and intelligence. His vendetta against the Titans began when he swore revenge for the death of his oldest son Grant.

Keanu Reeves [Height: 6' 1", Age: 50, Notable Works: Speed, Matrix, John Wick]: Keanu has shown a very impressive turn in the hit Action Film 'John Wick.' There Keanu take revenge to a whole new level while performing his ass off as the titular ex-mafia hitman. He's show great skill with armed and unarmed combat, Gunfights, and had looked bad ass doing all of it. At 50 he's in remarkable shape, and could certainly take a role like Deathstroke and make it even more Iconic. If you don't believe me than do yourself a favor and watch John Wick.

Joker [Height: 6' 0", Age: 30's]: The Joker is a serial killer and a super-villain, a dangerous madman who dresses like a clown and commits violent crimes. He is often recognized as Batman's greatest enemy, living in and terrorizing Gotham City, although he spends most of his time in Arkham Asylum. In addition to being a deadly and unpredictable physical combatant, he is a brilliant and ruthless criminal mastermind. His crimes require no motivation other than his sadistic desire to show people the meaninglessness of life through pain and death, and the narcissism to see the world remade in his own image. He is constantly adapting his personality and his psychosis to respond to the world around him, sometimes a harmless trickster and at others a brutal mass-murderer. Batman is his only worthy opponent, and although he has passed up multiple opportunities to murder the dark knight, he has no such problems with killing Robin or crippling Batgirl. Although his origins remain unclear and shrouded in mystery, it is also known that prior to the chemical accident that scarred his mind and body he was the small-time criminal Red Hood.

Glenn Howerton [Height: 5' 10", Age: 38, Notable Works: The Strangers, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Crank: High Voltage]: Glenn is a fantastic actor, best known for the role of Dennis Reynold's on FX's Hit Sitcom "It's Always Sunny in  Philadelphia" were he plays the overly self obsessed co-owner of Paddy's Pub. At first glance he might not seem like a great candidate for the Joker, too much of a comedian ect. But he has actually turned in some very serious and well done performances, like his short appearance in "The Strangers", as well as appearing in Serenity, and Crank: High Voltage. He's a great actor and I certainly think he could knock this one out of the park, and if that doesn't convince you, well he was Gunn's Number 2 Choice for Star-Lord and this video should give you a good reason to consider him:  http://youtu.be/57Dl3AyxBK0
