A Proper Hellboy Reboot

My take on a proper Hellboy reboot, washing the taste of the latest reboot out of my mouth.

HELLBOY: Vampir Sturm
When a group of Nazi Scientist attempt to resurrect a vampire who can bring about the Witch Goddess Hecate. The BPRD sends Hellboy and his team to investigate and stop the terror before Hecate can be unleashed.

HELLBOY: Hearts of Darkness
After a battle with Hellboy leaves her with the loss of an eye and weakened power, The Baba Yaga contracts one of her deadliest warrior: Koshchei the Deathless. Hellboy finds himself hunted by the merciless Supernatural Assassin, as he Hunts down the Baba Yaga to finish things for good.

HELLBOY: Devils and Destiny
Having retired from the B.P.R.D. Living life as a simple paranormal detective Hellboy is besieged by his friends at the B.P.R.D. to take on a case involving former villain Rasputin as he has returned from the dead to bring about the Apocalypse, with or without Hellboy’s Right Hand of Doom.

Small Changes
Hellboy in this would be featured wearing the same style of boots he does in the comics (accommodating for the hoof-like toes) as well as wearing Shorts. The Right Hand would be closer in style to how it appeared in the earlier comics {such as Wolves of Saint August and Seed of Destruction} as opposed to it’s more exaggerated look in the later books. In the third film it would feature Hellboy sporting a full beard for a distinctive look.

Executive Producer: An executive producer (EP) enables and backs up the making of a commercial entertainment product. He or she is concerned with management accounting and possibly with associated legal issues (like copyrights or royalties). An EP also contributes to the film's budget, and does not work on set.

Mike Mignola [Notable Works {As A Producer}: Hellboy (2004), Hellboy II: The Golden Army]: Being the creator of Hellboy it makes sense to attach him as a producer of any Hellboy media that comes out. He is a genius and his work with his creation is legendary and should be shown.

He or she is concerned with management accounting and possibly with associated legal issues (like copyrights or royalties). An EP also contributes to the film's budget, and does not work on set.

Akiva Goldsman [Notable Works: Constantine, I Am Legend, The Dark Tower]: His work with certain properties might be controversial but he’s worked with some great dark material and has created some cult classic movies. He would be someone that would help get the film made.

Lawrence Gordon [Notable Works: Hellboy (2004), Hellboy II: The Golden Army, Hellboy (2019)]: Having been tied to the franchise from the very beginning Lawrence Gordon has been instrumental in getting Hellboy on the big screen and he’s bound to keep at it.

Producer: Film producers prepare and then supervise the making of a film before presenting the product to a financing entity or a film distributor. They might be employed by a film studio or be independent, yet either way they helm the creative people as well as the accounting personnel.

Jason Blum [Notable Works: Sinister, Split, Halloween]: A true Legend in Hollywood and a pioneer for the horror genre as well as creative freedom for Directors Blum and Blumhouse Pictures have created a measure of good faith appealing to Horror fans guaranteeing at the very least an excited audience whenever Blum and Blumhouse is involved.

Producer: Film producers prepare and then supervise the making of a film before presenting the product to a financing entity or a film distributor. They might be employed by a film studio or be independent, yet either way they helm the creative people as well as the accounting personnel.

Eric Kripke [Notable Works {As a Producer}: Boogeyman, Supernatural, The House with a Clock in It’s Walls]: His work is steeped in Horror and Lore, his work is fantastic and he’s done a lot for Horror Genre in keeping it popular and entertaining. He would be someone that is keen to work on Hellboy because his previous works show he could balance Horror, Action, and even Humor.

Producer: Film producers prepare and then supervise the making of a film before presenting the product to a financing entity or a film distributor. They might be employed by a film studio or be independent, yet either way they helm the creative people as well as the accounting personnel.

Evan Goldberg [Notable Works: The Disaster Artists, Preacher, The Boys]: A fan of comics and a person moving into producing darker and edgier material over comedy, Goldberg’s efforts with Preacher and the Boys show how attentive he is too tone and spirit making him a fantastic choice to produce Hellboy.

Producer: Film producers prepare and then supervise the making of a film before presenting the product to a financing entity or a film distributor. They might be employed by a film studio or be independent, yet either way they helm the creative people as well as the accounting personnel.

Seth Rogen [Notable Works: The Disaster Artists, Preacher, The Boys]: Having shown range with various projects and having shown heart for the material Seth has shown he is able to break away from Comedy and bringing the spirit of whatever projects he works on to the fold. With his spiritually faithful adaptations of Garth Ennis creator owned work, there’s no doubt Seth would protect Hellboy and give him a proper reboot.

Production Designer: A production designer or P.D is the person responsible for the overall look of a filmed event such as films, TV programs, video games, music videos or adverts. Production designers have one of the key creative roles in the creation of motion pictures and television. Working directly with the director and producer, they must select the settings and style to visually tell the story.

Rick Heinrichs [Notable Works: Sleepy Hollow, The Wolfman, Dark Shadows]: His work with Gothic settings and 18th century style designs has made him the proper choice for the Production Designer. There’s no doubt that Rick would be able to do something none of the other films have done properly and bring Mike Mignola’s world to the big screen to fit along side the characters.

Costume Designer: A costume designer is a person who designs costumes for a film or stage production. The role of the costume designer is to create the characters and balance the scenes with texture and color, etc. The costume designer works alongside the director, scenic, lighting designer, sound designer, and other creative personnel. The costume designer may also collaborate with hair stylist, wig master, or makeup artist. In European theatre, the role is different, as the theatre designer usually designs both costume and scenic elements.

Trish Sumerville [Notable Works: The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, The Dark Tower, Red Sparrow]: Her work with The Dark Tower has stood out, it was great costuming on her part and there’s no doubt her work would be perfect to adapt the look of the B.P.R.D. Agents as well as Hellboy’s iconic coat look.

Creature Effects: Prosthetic makeup (also called Special make-up effects and FX prosthesis) is the process of using prosthetic sculpting, molding and casting techniques to create advanced cosmetic effects.
Greg Nicotero [Notable Works: The Walking Dead, Sin City: A Dame To Kill For, Preacher]: For the look of creatures it’s hard to argue anyone would be better then Greg Nicotero. His work with creatures is legendary, as well as well steeped in the horror genre. With his body of work there’s no doubt that Nicotero would create a Hellboy look as Iconic as either Mignola or Perlman’s.

Director of Photography: A cinematographer (usually credited with the title director of photography, or DP) is the chief over the camera and lighting crews working on a film and responsible for achieving artistic and technical decisions related to the image. The study and practice of this field is referred to as cinematography.

Phillip Rousselot [Notable Works: Interview with a Vampire, Sherlock Holmes, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them]: With work steeped into Gothic Horror as well as Detective fiction and Action movies, no one blends the style better than Phillip and this makes him a perfect candidate to help bring Hellboy back to theaters.

Film Editor: Film editing is part of the creative post-production process of filmmaking. The term film editing is derived from the traditional process of working with film, but now it increasingly involves the use of digital technology.

Eddie Hamilton [Notable Works: X-Men First Class, The Loft, Mission: Impossible - Fallout]: With a banner of fantastic action paced films under his belt it might seem odd having an Editor used to Action for a Horror film, it makes sense to help blend the more action elements of Hellboy’s adventures. With impressive work with Mission: Impossible - Fallout, there’s really no one better for the film.

Composer: A film score (also sometimes called film music, background music, or incidental music) is original music written specifically to accompany a film. The score forms part of the film's soundtrack, which also usually includes dialogue and sound effects, and comprises a number of orchestral, instrumental or choral pieces called cues which are timed to begin and end at specific points during the film in order to enhance the dramatic narrative and the emotional impact of the scene in question.

Bear McCreary [Notable Works: The Walking Dead, God of War (2018), Hellfest]: With work as dramatic and as iconic as the work Bear McCreary has churned out it’s hard to imagine anyone else who has the background or the pedigree to give Hellboy a proper cinematic score. His work on God of War alone makes him perfect to score a Hellboy film.

Screenwriter: A screenplay or script is a written work by screenwriters for a film, video game or television program. These screenplays can be original works or adaptations from existing pieces of writing. In them, the movement, actions, expression, and dialogues of the characters are also narrated. A play for television is also known as a teleplay.

Eric Kripke [Notable Works {As a Writer}: Boogeyman, Supernatural, The House with a Clock in It’s Walls]: With works steeped in Horror, Mythology, the Supernatural, and now Superheroes, there’s really no one else as qualified as Kripke to take on such a daunting task. Having written relateable, tragic, and charasmatic characters there’s no doubt Kripke could deliver a take on Hellboy that fits the standards of the comic and the fans.

Director: A film director is a person who directs the making of a film. Generally, a film director controls a film's artistic and dramatic aspects, and visualizes the script while guiding the technical crew and actors in the fulfillment of that vision. The director has a key role in choosing the cast members, production design, and the creative aspects of filmmaking.

Francis Lawrence [Notable Works: Constantine, I Am Legend, Red Sparrow]: Familiar with both action, comics, and the world of horror Francis has developed new interesting and dynamic takes on concepts like Hell, Demons, and Monsters. He’s a great director that does fantastic work adhering to suspense, drama, character, and horror. There’s no doubt he would be able to take on Hellboy and deliver something iconic and befitting of the character.

Hellboy [Height: 6’ 4”, Age: 70’s {Physically appears to be in his 30’s}]: The demon was supposed to be summoned off the shore of Scotland by Rasputin's Project Ragna Rok, but instead appeared at a ruined church near East Bromwich, England where it was found with an extremely large rock arm by Allied troops, adopted by Trevor Bruttenholm, and named as Hellboy. Over the years, Hellboy was granted honorary human status by the United Nations, and then raised by the U.S. Government as the lead agent in the Bureau of Paranormal Research and Defense (BPRD), where he worked with Abe Sapien (an icthyo sapien), Liz Sherman (a pyrokinetic) and Roger (a large homunculus). Hellboy is America's first line of defense against occult menaces. Hellboy grew up to be a large, red-skinned demon with a tail, horns (which he filed off, leaving behind the signature circular stumps on his forehead), and an over-sized right hand made of stone.

Jason Momoa [Height: 6’ 4”, Age: 39, Notable Works: Stargate: Atlantis, Frontier, Aquaman]: His performance in Aquaman was amazing, it was a laidback hero, he shrugged things off Nonchalantly and really developed a tone of natural humor. He’s got the size and the attitude to really play a youthful yet not childish version of the character. He could play him earnestly and really do something unique. I really don’t need to see him play a Hellboy Conflicted by his role in society, I’d rather see him play Hellboy as the character is in the Comics: the everyman with a job to do, who does it well and Jason would be one of the best actors to actually do that.

Liz Sherman [Height: 5’ 6”, Age: 30’s]: Liz Sherman is a pyrokenetic whose parents died when she set fire to the neighborhood. After that, she became a street thief for 10 years. Frustrated by living on the streets, Liz joined the bureau. Though she has left the bureau numerous times, she always returns because its the closest thing she has to a family.

Aubrey Plaza [Height: 5’ 6” Age: 34, Notable Works: Parks and Recreation, Scott Pilgrim vs The World, Legion]: There was really no one I could think of that would be better for the role. Aubrey, to me, is just the perfect pick for Liz. I think she would meld well with the attitude and the style of the character to an impressive degree. I could see Aubrey disappearing in this role and seeing Liz come out.

Abe Sapien [Height: 6’ 3”, Age: N/A]: Abraham "Abe" Sapien (born Langdon Everett Caul) is a member of the B.P.R.D.. Abe is a humanoid amphibious man, discovered in a Washington, D.C. basement in November of 1978. Abe has been with the Bureau ever since, as he endeavors to discover the truth about his identity.

Ed Skrien [Height: 6’ 1”, Age: 35, Notable Works: Deadpool, In Darkness, Alita Battle Angel {Forthcoming}]: After his controversial casting in Hellboy {2019} and his drop out I honestly have wondered why not just Earmark him for Abe Sapien. Ed is a talented actor and could certainly be up to any task thrown at him. I think a character like Abe would be a perfect blend for him to do something unique. I haven’t been able to really conceive of another actor {especially since Doug Jones did a wonderful job} for a rebooted Abe Sapien outside of Ed. This would be the perfect role for him especially after doing an effects heavy movie like Alita.

Dr. Kate Corrigan [Height: 5’ 6”, Age: 30’s]: Dr. Kate Corrigan was a professor of history at New York University (specializing in folklore) before she joined the B.P.R.D. as a consultant. She wrote sixteen books on folklore and occult history, including the confessions of Isobel Gowdie.

Deborah Ann Woll [Height: 5’ 10”, Age: 34, Notable Works: True Blood, Daredevil, Escape Room]: A fantastic actress who’s roles have shown heart and humility among extraordinary circumstances. She’s got a edge of self reliance and strength that makes her a perfect candidate to play Hellboy’s confidant.

Roger [Height: 6’ 4”, Age: N/A]: Roger was discovered in a medieval alchemist's lab beneath the ruins of Czege Castle, Romania by BPRD agents Liz Sherman, Bud Waller, and Sidney Leach during the Wake the Devil affair. Waller explained that a homunculus is created from blood and herbs, stewed in a jar, and then incubated in horse manure. Although lifeless upon discovery, the as-yet nameless Roger was activated when Liz touched the socket on his chest, absorbing her pyrokinesis as she was subconsciously looking to rid herself of it.

Alexander Skarsgard [Height: 6’ 4”, Age: 42, Notable Works: True Blood, Battleship, The Legend of Tarzan]: Alexander is a remarkable actor. Having played heroes, villains, and legends, he has shown range, power, and comedic timing that make him stand out as a fantastic actor. A role like Roger would permit him a lot of leeway to hone his skills into a proper and memorable character.

Ben Daimio [Height: 6’ 1”, Age: 40’s]: Benjamin Daimio was a member of the B.P.R.D. A former U.S. Marine who returned from the dead under mysterious circumstances, Ben joined the bureau in 2004 as a team commander. With years of military experience Ben assisted the Bureau in planning and prosecuting its war against the supernatural threats it faces, all the while dealing with his own demons and the events surrounding his rebirth.

Lee Byung-Hun [Height: 5’ 10”, Age: 48, Notable Works: I Saw The Devil, Red 2, The Magnificent Seven]: One of my favorite actors, Lee has shown some pretty stellar work given some unique material. Lee has no doubt the comedic and dramatic gravitas to take Daimio as a character and really develop something wholly unique and strong, properly honoring the character as he is in the comics.

Johann Kraus [Height: 5’ 10”, Age: 50’s]: Born in Germany, Johann Kraus became aware of his psychic ability at a very young age and was often frustrated that he couldn't help the spirits that came to him. He eventually lost his body during a séance to an extremely powerful psychic explosion originating in Chengdou, Johann's astral projection sought the help of the B.P.R.D. (Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense).

Ioan Gruffudd [Height: 6’ 0”, Age: 45, Notable Works: Fantastic Four, Forever, Harrow]: Ioan has done some fantastic work that has been widely overlooked, with numerous television series and little exposure in film he’s been due another opportunity to show what he can do and a role like Kraus really gives him room to play and an opportunity to show what he can bring to a role.

Alice Monoghan [Height: 5’ 3”, Age: 30’s]: A young woman of Irish descent, who retained some magical abilities after she was kidnapped by fairies as a baby.

Karen Gillen [Height: 5’ 11”, Age: 31, Notable Works: Doctor Who, Guardians of the Galaxy, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle]: Really the perfect actress for the role. Being everybit as charming, clever, and endearing as the character comes off as in the books. Karen was the first and really only choice for the role.

Sidney Leach [Height: 5’ 9”, Age: 30’s]: Sidney Leach was a B.P.R.D. field agent, with the power to detect and manipulate metal.

Aaron Paul [Height: 5’ 8”, Age: 39, Notable Works: Breaking Bad, Need for Speed, The Path]: Great at playing likeable but flawed individuals Aaron really has the energy and hear to play someone like Sidney and make them as likeable and fun for the audience as they were in the books. Aaron has more talent outside of what he’s been typed for and should really get an opportunity to show that.

Dr. Thomas Manning [Height: 5’ 9”, Age: 60’s]: Manning was born in 1958, in Somerville, Massachusetts. The son of a government employee and the second of three children, Manning became an accomplished student and attended American University in Washington, D.C., where he earned a B.A. in International Studies. Although Manning's family and friends had expected him to enter the foreign service, Manning instead applied for a field position with the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense. In 1980, after four years working as a field agent, Manning was promoted to assistant to the director. After Trevor Bruttenholm resigned his directorship in 1982, Manning was assigned to assist with the interim director's transition and was promoted to director of field operations.

James Spader [Height: 5’ 10”, Age: 59, Notable Works: Boston Legal, Avengers: Age of Ultron, The Blacklist]: Really there is no one as perfect for the role. Without doubt James is perfect casting being able to command an intimidating presence fitting of Manning while also being able to show some light heartedness to the role. He could take a more serious turn for the character than Jeffrey Tambor’s attempt.

Lobster Johnson [Height: 6’ 1”, Age: 40’s]: The Lobster was a vigilante who worked in secret in New York City during the 1930s. He had a reputation for violence, such as killing mobsters and burning his trademark lobster claw symbol into their foreheads.

Patrick Wilson [Height: 6’ 1”, Age: 45, Notable Works: Insidious, The Conjuring, Aquaman]: He has the look of a classic Superhero, and having worked on more horror related Projects he’s shown some fantastic range. He’s a great actor and could certainly give the Lobster his Due with an incredible take that fits the character and the story.

Ilsa Haupstein [Height: 5’ 9”, Age: 80’s {Physically appears to be 30}]: Ilsa Haupstein was a Nazi scientist and a devoted follower of Grigori Rasputin. She was an early member of Project Ragna Rok, and lover of Vladimur Giurescu. She attempted to recruit him for a Special Project of her own ‘Vampir Sturm.’

Sylvia Hoeks [Height: 5’ 9”, Age: 35, Notable Works: The Best Offer, Blade Runner 2049, The Girl in the Spider’s Web]: Sylvia has been one of the most surprising sensations as far as acting goes. She’s done some phenomenal work starting in Blade Runner and going through the recent adaptation of Steig Larrson’s Lisbeth Sanders series. She’s a rising star and would be able to give some real energy and emotion to a role like Ilsa.

Vladimur Giursecu [Height: 5’ 10”, Age: N/A]: Vladimir Giurescu was a powerful vampire who was brought back to life by the goddess Hecate in the Late Middle Ages. He worked with, and was ultimately betrayed, by the Nazis during World War II. After the Nazis killed him, he was restored to life and finally defeated by Hellboy.

Gaspard Ulliel [Height: 5’ 11”, Age: 34, Notable Works: Hannibal Rising, Saint Laurent, Eva]: The Former Hannibal had left Hollywood, honing his craft in a number of independent foreign films that has shown what he is capable off. With an impressive body of work there really stands no one who could be as compelling or as powerful in a role like Giurescu than Gaspard. He would be absolutely perfect.

Hecate [Height: Variable, Age: N/A]: Hecate is the Goddess of Witches, also known as Gorgon Eyes, or the Queen of Dogs. She states that she's connected to Hellboy, because they both are related with the coming of the Apocalypse.

Radha Mitchell [Height: 5’ 6”, Age: 45, Notable Works: Silent Hill, The Crazies, Celeste]: A very underutilized actress, Radha has been a favorite of mine since Silent Hill. Having shown real depth and emotion in her roles there’s no doubt she could take a challenge like Hecate and make the character something very easy for an Audience to understand and appreciate.

Koshchei The Deathless [Height: 6’ 3”, Age: N/A]: Koshchei, often referred to as "Koshchei the Deathless" or "Koshchei the Devil," is a figure from Slavic folklore and a one time foe of Hellboy. Enslaved to Baba Yaga until she grants him death.

Ray Stevenson [Height: 6’ 3”, Age: 54, Notable Works: Punisher War Zone, Blacksails, Rellik]: After seeing his turn as Blackbeard there’s really no one who has the size, pedigree, or performance to fit Koshchei like Ray Stevenson. No stranger to Supernatural roles nor roles of relentless killers, Stevenson is a strong actor that has every bit of presence and intimidation that fits the character to perfectly.

Baba Yaga [Height: 5’ 3”, Age: N/A]: Baba Yaga was a legendary witch of Russian folklore that lived inside a chicken leg house, and counted dead men's fingers. She has a longstanding grudge against Hellboy for his countless attacks on her monsters as well as having shot out her eye.

Tilda Swinton [Height: 5’ 11”, Age: 58, Notable Works: Constantine, Doctor Strange, Suspiria]: There has never been a more transmorphic actress in our time then Tilda Swinton. Having played roles of numerous characters and genders, she’s shown that she really is a next level actress, something sorely required to properly portray the Baba Yaga. With a massive catalog of work steeped in horror, action, and drama there’s no one else better suited to take the role of Hellboy’s true arch-nemesis.

Unmensch [Height: 6’ 9”, Age: 80’s {Appears to be in his 30’s}]: Unmensch was a cyborg Nazi in the service of Karl Ruprecht Kroenan.

Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson [Height: 6’ 9”, Age: 31, Notable Works: Game of Thrones, Kickboxer: Retaliation, Operation Ragnarok]: Unmensch is a character made to look not only intimidating but also powerful. Hafþór stands as an actor unparralled in his ability to portray sadistic indimidation and frightening power and would make for a good creature to give Hellboy a serious battle for his life.

Inger Von Klempt [Height: 5’ 4”, Age: 30’s]: Inger was contacted by her grandfather, who convinced her to help his plan to contact Ernst Oeming's space capsule and recall it to Earth. Inger believed that fulfilling the Third Reich's original plan would grant her and her men great power, as well as accomplish the ideals of Nazism, which she seems to have shared.

Svetlana Khodchenkova [Height: 5’ 11”. Age: 36, Notable Works: The Wolverine, Viking, Dovlatov]: Underutilized and under appreciated Svetlana is an actress that has done some fantastic work despite not getting the best characters. Having a very impressive resume and list of performances she really stands out as a perfect choice for Inger to give a deceptive and heart wrenching performance.

Herman Von Klempt [Height: Variable, Age: 80’s {Preserved to look in his 50’s}]: Herman von Klempt is a Nazi 'mad scientist' who has worked on numerous schemes to control or destroy the world. Though his body was destroyed, von Klempt survived as a head in a jar, often assisted in his work by mechanical apes.

Rhys Ifans [Height: 6’ 2”, Age: 51, Notable Works: The Amazing Spider-Man, Snowden, Berlin Station]: Few actors ever seem to have as much fun playing bad guys as Rhys. Having played numerous villains of all types, having him play a mad scientist to this scale would be fun to see. He’s no doubt a fantastic actor and could really do something unique and lasting with the role.

Karl Ruprecht Kroenan [Height: 5’ 10”, Age: 90’s {Appearance disguised by Suit}]: Karl Ruprect Kroenen was a relatively unremarkable Nazi SS scientist, whose most distinguishing characteristic was that he always wore a gas mask and protective bodysuit, possibly due to severe obsessive-compulsive disorder and fear of bacteria.

Matt Smith [Height: 6’ 0”, Age: 36, Notable Works: Doctor Who, Terminator Genysis, The Crown]: A fantastic actor who’s been able to come out of his own since leaving Doctor Who. He’s got fantastic Energy and range, making him a prime candidate to take the character of Kroenan and do something proper and enjoyable with the role.

Roderick Zinco [Height: 6’ 1”, Age: 40’s]: Roderick Zinco was a wealthy man and founder of his company, the Zinco Corporation, chosen by Rasputin to be a messenger to the members of the Ragna Rok Project.

Colin Hanks [Height: 6’ 2”, Age: 41, Notable Works: Orange County, King Kong, Fargo]: I’m a fan of Colin. He’s done some great work from Orange County to Fargo. He’s got great talent and could really develop something fun and impressive as Zinco.

Grigori Rasputin [Height: 6’ 4”, Age: 150’s {Appears to be in his 40’s}]: Grigori Rasputin was a prominent agent of the Ogdru Jahad and the archenemy of Hellboy. He is based on the real life Russian mystic that was connected to the late Romanov family of imperial Russia. He was the mystic behind Project Ragna Rok.

Mads Mikkelsen [Height: 6’ 0”, Age: 53, Notable Works: Casino Royale, Hannibal, Doctor Strange]: There’s really no one else I could really put in this role. He’s a fantastic actor, already haven brazenly taken a Legendary Role and perfected it in his turn as Hannibal Lecter. He’s played every manner of sinister. He took an MCU role with little screen time and developed a very decent character arc. If anyone could take Rasputin and do something unique and interesting with the role, it would be Mads.

  1. This Hellboy reboot is a bit more my speed. Rick Heinrichs is a great choice for production designer and Bear McCreary would make a great Hellboy score, on par with Marco Beltrami's work. Philippe Rousellot (another Tim Burton alumni) is someone I never would have considered for an HB movie, but he really fits tbh.

Great job with the cast and crew.
